<p>Using dialogue, movement, music, and props, Mara Siciliano illustrates 22 embarrassing moments in her life. She opens the show as a four-year old and ages throughout the performance, closing with tales of her early twenties. Siciliano evokes and magnifies moments that are reflectively humorous, personal yet universal. Nothing is left uncovered: boys, bras, the creative desire, crying, dumping disasters, pop culture, and all the cringe-worthy moments that exemplify youth in the 1980s and ‘90s.</p>
<p>In 1997, Mara Siciliano became the youngest solo show contributor in the history of the Seattle Fringe Festival. Her show, Appetites of the Enamored, launched her ongoing exploration of autobiography as entertainment. Siciliano was co-founder of Origami Girl Productions, a co-founding member of the comedy troupe The Habit, and a regular guest for Dan Savage’s radio program, Savage Love Live. Her choreography has been seen at the Intiman Theater, Washington Ensemble Theater, Annex Theater, the Triple Door, Re-bar, and the Ethnic Cultural Theater. When not improvising as an Unexpected Productions company member she can be found performing as a Freedom Dancer in Mark Siano’s Soft Rock Series.</p>
